Hi, I’m Rebecca, the heart behind Briar and Sage Learning. With nearly 20 years in public education and certifications in English and Generalist studies, I’ve taught in classrooms, mentored students, and developed curriculum—but my greatest lessons have come from watching children thrive when learning feels meaningful. Briar and Sage was inspired by our granddaughters and the growing number of families choosing homeschooling. I saw a need for high-quality, enriching support outside the traditional school model—and I knew I had both the experience and the space to offer something special. Together with my husband, I’ve created a learning environment rooted in wonder, wisdom, and warmth. We believe every child deserves the chance to grow in a place that honors who they are and encourages who they’re becoming.
